Ar son Bord na nÓg Cill Dara, ta an-áthas orm fáilte a chur roimh cách chuig Féile Peil na nÓg 2009. Ta súil agam go mbainfidh gach duine taitneamh as an ocáid agus as na gcluichí.
We in Kildare G.A.A. are very proud to host this wonderful festival of under-14 Boys and Girls Gaelic football. The inaugural Féile Peil na nÓg took place in Cavan in 1982 with 25 visiting teams, representing 21 counties. This year over the weekend of the 3rd, 4th, 5th July we look forward to welcoming over 150 teams, their mentors, families and supporters, from every county of Ireland, especially our overseas participants. Féile has grown over the years and is without doubt one of the highlights of the sporting calendar. It encompasses more than football – Féile Peil na nÓg is a forum for our juvenile players to forge friendships with competitors their own age which will stay with them throughout the years.

The plan for the weekend is as follows:
Friday July 3rd - Host teams will play their visiting team at Host venue. Afterwards all Féile teams will meet in St. Conleth’s Park (County Grounds), Newbridge for Opening Ceremony followed by parade through Newbridge - a spectacle not to be missed.
Saturday July 4th - Second round games will be played at venues throughout Kildare culminating with semi-finals in evening.
Sunday July 5th - Finals will take place St Conleth’s Park, Newbridge.
The first weekend in July 2009 in Kildare promises matches of great drama and quality, played in a fantastic spirit with unrivalled hospitality. This is possible thanks to the many volunteers, parents, mentors, GAA clubs and especially host families throughout Kildare for their time and effort in preparing for Féile Chill Dara.
The web site will be updated on a regular basis so keep logging on for further information.
Go mbainigí fíor-thaitneamh as na gcluichí.
Michael Mullen, Cathaoirleach.
