Féile Peil na nÓg Cill Dara 2009 – Parade Details
All Teams must be in St. Conleth’s Park, Newbridge by 18.00
The Féile Peil na nÓg Cill Dara Parade will leave County Grounds at 19.00.
· All teams must participate in the Parade;
· Teams must travel to Newbridge by bus;
- Each Team should carry their Club Banner and dress in Club colours,
- Prize for Best Dressed Club;
- Teams to march 4-a-breast in parade with Team Captain in front row on left;
- Team Identification Number to be carried by player in front row on right;
- Team Manager, front left, & a Mentor to carry Club Banner – other two Mentors to parade behind their Team. - Prize for Best Banner;
The Féile Parade will travel along Main Street, pass Review Stand where Her Excellency, President of Ireland Mary McAleese will be guest of honour along with GAA President Christy Cooney and President of Ladies Football Pat Quill. The Parade will continue along Edward Street, onto Standhouse Road and conclude in Cill Mhuire grounds.
Stewards will be on hand to assist throughout the evening. Buses will be guided to Parking Area in Curragh. Arrangements will be in place for buses to be in Cill Mhuire to bring teams back to Host Clubs. Team Identification Number and Parking arrangements will be e-mailed to all clubs shortly.
